چکیده
Hypotension is the most common adverse effect of spinal anesthesia (SA). The insidence SA-induced hypotension in total population 15-33%, patients older age groups it reaches 80%. At young and middle ages, main determinant considered to be a reduction postload venous reflux, due blood deposition capacitance vessels lower extremities. aortocaval compressionsyndromeplays significant role obstetric practice, cardiac output does not change. In elderly patients, prerequisite for development an enhanced basal sympathetic toneon background SA. this category, addition reducing peripheral vascular resistance (TPVR), decline also plays role. Risk factors anesthesia-induced are followings: (chronic alcohol consumption, history hypertension, sensory block upper than Th6, urgency surgery). To prevent advisable reduce doses local anesthetics. Data from studies do confirm effectiveness extended infusion therapy prevention correction hypotension. Vasopressors - phenylephrine ephedrine or dopamine effectiveforpreventinghypotension.

Incidence and risk factors of hypotension and bradycardia after spinal anesthesia for cesarean section.
BACKGROUND Hypotension or bradycardia after spinal anesthesia for cesarean section remain common and are serious complications. The current study evaluated factors associated to the incidences of hypotension or bradycardia in this context. MATERIAL AND METHOD A prospective cross sectional study from November 1, 2004 to July 31, 2005 was conducted on 722 parturients undergoing cesarean section...

I report a case of hypotension and bradycardia before spinal anesthesia in a pregnant woman with mild to moderate hypertension treated with nifedipine and methyldopa, scheduled for an elective cesarean delivery. She had the history of neurally-mediated syncopes. Two main factors (increased vagal tone and adverse effects of antihypertensive drugs) could explain the hypotension and bradycardia be...

Method: Sixty patients were evaluated for hypotension induced by Lidocaine used intrathecally or epidurally. The patients were randomly assigned in the two groups; all the patients had gynecological surgery. Intrathecal anesthesia was administered using 75mg (1.5ml) of Lidocaine 5% in the first group and epidural anesthesia was administered using 300mg (20ml) of Lidocaine 1.5% in the second gro...
